CzechInvest's employees deal with potential investors and strategic partners on a daily basis. Their everyday work consists in negotiating with high-level representatives of the state administration, representatives of regions, cities and municipalities and local entrepreneurs. The objective is to create the best conditions for the state, municipalities, local entrepreneurs and investors.

Therefore, strong emphasis is placed on the level of expertise, negotiation skills and management skills, particularly among the agency’s top management. CzechInvest’s managers are professionals with extensive experience in business, international trade, research and development, law and marketing. The agency’s strategy is to fill key positions with high-quality managers who can help CzechInvest achieve its ambitious goals.


Patrik Reichl

Ing. Patrik Reichl, MBA

CzechInvest CEO

Patrik Reichl is a graduate of the University of Economics in Prague and the Brno International Business School. He has worked at CzechInvest since 2005, initially as head of the South Moravian office and later as director of the Regions Division. From 2010 to 2012, he served as the deputy CEO for business environment support. He returned to his position as head of the South Moravian office in 2014. Patrik Reichl is married and has three sons. He enjoys gardening and farming.



Bc. Vojtěch Rajtr

Deputy for Strategy

Vojtěch Rajtr is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics in Prague. Prior to joining CzechInvest in 2005, he worked in marketing and advertising agencies. At the beginning of his career at CzechInvest, he was involved in the development of Czech subcontractors. He gradually gained experience in the area of overall support for companies, from start-ups to major foreign investors. From November 2014, he served as the head of the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Regions Division. In 2020, he became the deputy for strategy, determining CzechInvest’s direction according to Strategy 2019+. Vojtěch is fluent in English. In his free time, he focuses primarily on his family. He enjoys skiing and cycling.


Ing. Jakub Hájek

Ing. Jakub Hájek

Head of the Startup and Innovative SME Division

Jakub Hájek is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the Politecnico di Torino in Italy. He worked abroad for ten years, namely in Great Britain, South Africa, Ireland and Germany in the area of automotive anti-corrosion protection. In 2019, he became the sector manager for nanotechnology at CzechInvest and, a year later, head of the Innovation Department. Jakub Hájek is married and has a son. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and photography and is a fan of science fiction and fantasy.


Veronika Zajícová

Mgr. Veronika Kratochvílová

Director of the Foreign Operations and Investment Division

Veronika Kratochvílová holds a degree in West European Studies and Security Studies from Charles University in Prague. She has been working for CzechInvest since 2015, initially serving as a project manager for strategic projects. In 2018, she became the head of the Investment Project Management Department and has been managing the Foreign Operations and Investment Division since 2020. Veronika speaks English, as well as French and Italian recreationally. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading and travelling.


Šárka Špoutilová

Ing. Šárka Špoutilová

Director of the Business Environment Division

Šárka Špoutilová graduated in economics and management from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. She joined CzechInvest in 2007 as a project manager for the Central Bohemia and Prague regional office, which she also managed from 2010 until her departure from the agency. From 2011 to 2014, she initially served as a consultant on the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation and later worked for the State Environmental Fund at the Ministry of the Interior. In 2014, she returned to CzechInvest as the head of the Regional Offices Department and coordinated the operation of the agency’s thirteen offices throughout the Czech Republic. She has been managing the Business Environment Division since 2020. Šárka is fluent in English. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and upholstery.
